Would come back again ☺ What a wonderful stay! We booked the two pool-view rooms, and one even included a beautiful bathtub. Everything was spotless, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the shower was excellent. As someone unfamiliar with South Africa, finding a location that felt secure and offered convenient airport access was very important to me — and this place exceeded expectations. The neighborhood is lovely, peaceful, and felt very safe. There’s also a Spar only a few minutes away, which was very convenient. We especially enjoyed having dinner by the pool in the evening — such a relaxing atmosphere. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

What a wonderful time we had at Villa Helderburg ☺ What a wonderful time we had at Villa Helderburg. Firstly, the location was perfect. My fiancé and I came to South Africa to get married in Stellenbosch and Villa Helderburg was close enough to the airport and city plus a short drive from our wedding venue. Even though the weather was pouring with rain when we arrived, the Welcome from Sonny and Maria was very warm. I contacted them in advance requesting a bottle of champagne and a bunch of local flowers as a surprise for my fiancé and their selection was perfect!!! We picked up one of our guests, also travelling from England for the wedding and our rooms had been bumped up as a kind and generous gesture as we were getting married. We enjoyed everything about our stay at Villa Helderburg and as the weather cleared over the next couple of days the views could really be taken in. We all loved the breakfast options each day and every question and request we had was met with enthusiasm as Sonny and Maria gave us plenty of recommendations for places to visit and eat. My brother, wife and child joined us a few days in and stayed in the family cottage which they thoroughly enjoyed and will be writing their own review separately. We were sad to leave Villa Helderburg as we had such a lovely stay there and as the rain came again, Sonny and Maria helped us pack our cars. We couldn't have wished for better hosts and the accommodation was perfect for the six of us. We will all look forward to staying there again in future are are pleased to stay in touch with our wonderful hosts since departing. We didn't have the opportunity to use tge wood fired hot tub so yet another reason to return. I should also mention their two cats of which we fell in love with Susie who was so playful and photogenic. Thank you Sonny and Maria for such a lovely time at Villa Helderburg. Beautiful grounds and amazing staff. ☺ The location and grounds were stunning. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were delicious. Plenty of space in the accommodation including a little private garden area. Onsite parking available, but also parking just outside the property if needs be. ☹ There was a log burner, but the logs were too thick to burn and it could get chilly in the accommodation. The WiFi signal was not as strong as it could be, but it was changed over at the end of our stay. It was quite expensive for a room only and then with the addition of breakfast, it worked out at nearly over £185 a night.

Heerlijke plek! ☺ Wat een prachtige plek hebben Sonny en Marije hier van gemaakt. Super rustig, mooie kamers en ze zijn ontzettend gastvrij. Fijne uitvalsbasis met alles dichtbij! ☹ Nvt :-)

Perfekter Ort zum Entspannen ☺ Super Garten mit Swimmingpool. Alles ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gemacht. Tolles Frühstück vor Ort dazu buchbar. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Hervorragend ☺ Nach 2015 und 2016 waren wir das dritte Mal in der Villa Helderberg. Sehr sympathische neue Besitzer und unser Gartenzimmer war sehr schön renoviert und gemütlich. Für uns einfach zum wohl fühlen und ankommen nach dem langen Flug ideal, bevor es auf unsere Rundreise ging. Der schön angelegte Garten lädt zum relaxen ein. Gerne wieder!
